39/89 UNDERSTAND POLAND
39/89 UNDERSTAND POLAND is on the one hand an innovative approach to modern music composed by L.U.C, but on the other hand a sentimental journey throughout Polish history. The concerts performed (by a group of eight people) within the framework of the 39/89 project are widely perceived to be intricate multimedia spectacles. The project combines both electronic sounds generated by L.U.C and historic speeches finely mixed by Michał Paradowski, and everything accompanied by a band of musicians from Wrocław, Poland. As above mentioned, during the spectacles we are presented with several speeches delivered by recognized celebrities, such as Stefan Starzyński – Polish capital mayor in 1939, Adolf Hitler, Władysław Gomułka – former politician, Wojciech Jaruzelski – Polish president in 1989, the pope John Paul II, Lech Wałęsa – former Polish president and Nobel Peace Prize winner and former Polish Prime Minister Tadeusz Mazowiecki. The 39/89 project is complemented by a slideshow which makes it even more engrossing.

PLANET L.U.C
Planet L.U.C is a concept album merging 4 galaxies of art - music, lyrics, film and graphics. Deeply engaged in Polish reality, the LP tells us a story of people facing everyday challenges with a touch of irony. It opens with a gloomy picture of Poland dripping with ersatz goods and raging soviet mentality. But as the listener later discovers, the pessimistic image is just the outer layer, the mediocre facade. It is our mind that holds the key to a fairytale world – Witu. L.U.C invites us in! During numerous gigs the musicians use a lot of props, wear colourful outfits and often dress up as a fortuneteller, a chicken or even as Elvis Presley! Although they look peculiar, they bring up serious matters such as Polish mentality, nowadays problems and haunting memories. The project has its jazz and club version as well.

PYYKYCYKYTYPFF
A pioneering work produced merely by human larynx. What’s more, not a single instrument appears on the album. It is by all account an unusual and technologically refined release. L.U.C mixed the sounds generated by his vocal organs and with the help of electronic equipment he produced an original background music for his lyrics. As he admitted in one of the interviews, L.U.C considers him an “amateur beatboxer” who composes an unique partially vocal and partially electronic symphony. Nonetheless, the label “symphonic” should not be misleading, as the music sounds great mainly in clubs . The tour is scheduled for 2011.
